1. The deadline for entries
in the funspiel to be held at the Silver Fox
Curling and Yacht Club, Summerside on February 29 & March
1,
2008
is February 22, 2008!! Entry forms are available from the
Members of the Board of Governors. Teams are registered on a
first come
first serve basis, so get your entries in A.S.A.P. The first
36 PAID teams will be accepted and the rest will be placed on a
waiting list.
2. This year, the funspiel will be
run as a regular three game
guaranteed curling event. Teams will be placed in three divisions
determined by random draw not curling experience.
3. Complimentary mussels will be
served on Friday evening. Stay for
the dance Friday evening from 8:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.
4. If you need accommodation for
Friday night, you must make your
own reservations. No rooms have been blocked so make your
reservations as soon as possible.

5. In an attempt to keep the games
running on time, we will be
following the regular bell rule. The bell will ring after 1 1/4 hours
and
teams will complete the end they are playing as quickly as possible.
6. Ties will be broken with skips
drawing to the button. (No
sweeping!)
7. The draw will appear in the daily
papers on Wednesday, February
27, 2008 as well as the PEITF website at www.peitf.com.
8. No refund will be issued for
cancellation after February 22, 2008.
9. Please, make every possible
effort to play ALL scheduled draws. It
is very difficult to find a replacement team when a team does
not
show up.
