To ensure that the curling matches begin and end on time and to avoid running late either Friday or Saturday, the following rules will be strictly enforced:

1. We are following the Bell Rule. The bell will ring after 1 1/4
    hours of scheduled play and teams will complete the end
    they are playing. DO NOT start another end after the bell
    has rung.

2. Each team must be at their assigned ice at the start of
    their game. If a team arrives up to 15 minutes late to play,
    that team shall lose the first end and forfeit 2 points.
    Game will begin in the second end.

3. If a team arrives later than 30 minutes after the scheduled
    ice time, the game will be forfeited to the team that was
    ready to play.

4. Ties will be broken with the skips drawing to the button.
    No sweeping!

5. Each game is 6 ends with the finals being held Saturday
    afternoon at 4:00 p.m. The finals will be 8 end games.

Finals:

Teams will be grouped by random into the three divisions for the funspiel.

Complimentary mussels will be available Friday night after the last draw. The Kitchen at the Silver Fox is open from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday night and 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Saturday.

Dance begins at 8:00 p.m. on Friday evening.

Please note: If school is cancelled because of inclement weather, the funspiel will also be cancelled and refunds for entry fees will be made. If school is only delayed in the morning, the funspiel will proceed as scheduled.
